Based in Hastings, East Sussex we provide affordable office suites, desk space and business support services for SME’s, freelancers and start ups working locally in the creative industries sector. Typically advertising, marketing, writing, publishing, design, film, TV, radio, software and internet are the types of businesses that help to make the CMC the focus for a vibrant, creative business community.

The first part of the Creative Media Centre at 17-19 Robertson Street, Hastings opened in April 2004 and was one of the first projects to be delivered by Sea Space as part of the regeneration strategy of Hastings and Bexhill. It has space for up to 20 companies. The second building, which opened in September 2005, is also in Robertson Street and has space for 40 more companies.

The Innovation Centre has spaces between 25 and 95 sq metres in size. We can accommodate up to 70 companies in our mix of workshops, studios and offices. Some units have vehicular access and all offices are fully decorated and ready to move in.

The Innovation Centre is on the Churchfields Estate on the north-west edge of Hastings, only three miles from the town centre, mainline rail station and seafront and just a mile from the main road to London.

Supported with money from the EU and the UK government via the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), any profits made by the Centre will be ploughed back into the economic regeneration programme for the area.
